Fremgangsmåde
1. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and finely chopped cornichon together
2. Season to taste with freshly ground pepper
1. Lightly fry onions in a pan until soft and caramelized
While the onions are frying over medium heat, prepare the patties.
1. Divide ground meat into 4 loose balls (approx. 150 g each)
2. Heat a pan and add fat
3. Place the meat in the pan and smash flat with a burger press or similar.
4. Season with salt and pepper
5. Sear intensely for approx. 1 min. Flip and place cheddar on the cooked side while the other side finishes cooking.
1. Warm the burger buns in the oven or lightly toast on the cut side
2. Wash and chop vegetables
3. Spread burger dressing on both sides of the bun
4. Add the patty with cheese, onion, and optionally vegetables.
5. Serve with crispy french fries.
