BRØL – Beer brewed on surplus bread
BRØL is an independent nano brewery fighting against food waste one sip at a time. The beer is produced in a sustainable manner with surplus bread from our two brands, Il Fornaio and Jalm&B. The idea is to show how the daily surplus bread can be used for beer brewing while at the same time reducing food waste. The result is a high-quality beer that is to be enjoyed by the consumer while bringing joy to the creative process for both the baker and the brew master. The point is not only to reduce food waste, it´s also a way of supporting a creative process where the result at the end of the day is made possible because of good cooperation and craftmanship between brew master and baker. The beer consists of water, malt, surplus bread, hops and yeast.
