This is our food missionaries. Meet Marko, Rasmus and Alex. Three characters that we benefit from both in Marketing as well as in product development and innovation.

The common denominator for our food missionaries is that all three have a background in the restaurant world of Michelin, they have clear attitudes towards the craft and they have a common mission to bring important messages forward in the hope of making the Danes consider what they put in their mouth.

Marko (on the left) is a food missionary and marketing manager for Jalm&B. Marko has passed his life  in the kitchen at Bo Bech and restaurant Paustian, in Tivoli at Divan 2 and as co-founder of the food company Rødder. Marko also holds a master’s degree in Danish and rhetoric, and has been employed as development manager at Meyers. This is also where a baking book and vegetable cookbook came into being. Marko enjoys his own freshly dug potatoes cooked with lovage, and it shall be served with large amounts of natural wine.

Rasmus was hijacked from the Danish Michelin restaurant Noma and today works as a product developer, production manager and food missionary. As a chef, his career has, among other things, brought him to New York, Australia and Mexico as a pastry chef for Noma, and with responsibility for the sourdough bread, the transition from kitchen to bakery became fluid. Rasmus likes frequent visits at the city’s best bakeries and restaurants, and according to Rasmus the food must be classic and the wine sulphurous. While the sourdough bread ferments in the bakery, Rasmus typically pulls in his training clothes for a good WOD in the Crossfit box at Amager.

Alexandra, also known as Alex, became a part of the Foodpeople team in October 2019. With a background as a chef at e.g. Le Sommelier, Frank and Kong Hans Kælder she cares a lot about decent ingredients and craft, and as a child of two chefs she is a peerless food enthusiast. Alex loves vegetables and her favourite drink is Singapore Sling(s). At Foodpeople she works a brand manager for Jalm&B and off course as food missionary.

Every day our food missionaries work closely together in the pursuit of the ultimate bread and their misson to spread the word and knowledge about what defines a good bread.
