Il Fornaio has baked with a no compromise approach to the craft and high quality pure ingredients since 1988. Il Fornaio was the first Danish Slow Food bakery and aims to set new standards for the craft and thereby bake the best bread possible. It is our believe that joy and quality of life can be linked to the entire experience around food. We believe in community and being present in the now. We like to inspire and be inspired and we believe in the chefs approach to the craft of baking and notably respecting the time required to achieve the best possible result. We insist on purity of product and use only organic ingredients and no e-numbers (artificial additives). Il Fornaio was the first Danish bakery to convert 100% to producing organic.
